All of silk's by-products are integrated back into the ecosystem and economic system. Mulberry trees grow with mostly rainfall, the fruits are eaten, the leaves are eaten by the silkworms (moth pupa really), the wood is used for timber or fuel and the leaf stalks and leftovers are fed to cattle. The extra waste is used as fertiiser, and lower quality silk is used as filling in silk products like duvets. Sericin, which is recovered from the wastewater, is added to food, cosmetics, textiles, and pharmaceuticals. Even the silkworms are savoured as a delicacy in Asia after the silk is made. It truly is a circular and sustainably produced textile.
Further, recent studies have found that silk production, when taking into account the carbon sequestering properties of the mulberry trees, produce 814x less carbon than cotton.1360x less carbon than wool and 620x less carbon than polyester. In fact it only produces 34kg CO2 /tonne of silk fabric.

We use raw materials that are mostly natural in nature, Silk is a completely natural material, with the absence of any chemicals, Fossil fuel-based fabrics, on the other hand, use a finite resource that cannot be easily replenished. We use resources optimally. We repair defective scarves and collect them as material sample swatches when ithis is not possible. We have zero silk waste and we absorb 100% of the cost.

Our cutom boxes, labels and other accessories are FSC certified and 100% recyclable. All our postal boxes and paper are either made from recycled materials or FSC certified. Also We try our best to develop packaging method to minimise plastic use, opting for recyclable and biodegradable materials, and simplifying packaging design while maintaining the luxury feel our customers expect, we aim to minimize our environmental impact while maintaining product quality and aesthetic appeal.
We continually explore ways to reduce plastic usage. We also use non-toxic printing methods, explore innovative alternatives, and educate consumers on how to recycle properly, encouraging a more sustainable lifestyle.

We are committed to using 100% natural silk fibers and We have agreed with our suppliers to ensure that the cashmere is sheared from the sheep in a gentle manner without harming their bodies. We forbid the mistreatment of animals at any stage of our supply chain and ask our suppliers to follow the United Kingdom’s 2006 Animal Welfare Act. We additionally follow the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) to ensure that we do not use materials from exotic or endangered species.
